Cynthia is a member of the American Society of Indexing (ASI) and has completed the University of California Berkeley Extension course: Indexing Theory and Application. She has her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and sixteen years experience as a school and public librarian. Her content experience includes: cinema/media history & studies, social sciences, biography, public policy, libraries/ information sciences, nonprofit management, K-12 education, children’s literature, New England studies, history and culture. As an experienced indexer, as well as an academic librarian, I have been on both ends of an index. I currently work with textbooks, scholarly and trade books, as well as database indexing.
